A user experience of the differences between Open standard software and Propitiatory software is the exercise to work with those guys that are still kept as prisoners by the large company on the US west coast. Yesterday I found in the LibreOffice Writer  the Wizard Document converter, which should help when you receive templates and documents in .doc or .docx -format, and need to work on it in .odt-format.
